Roaring River Falls: Visit Roaring River Falls, a scenic waterfall located just a short walk from the road. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the nearby picnic area and listen to the soothing sound of rushing water as it tumbles over the rocky cliffs.
Granite Monoliths: Marvel at the park’s towering granite monoliths, including the iconic Grand Sentinel and Grand Sentinel Dome. Hike to viewpoints like Panoramic Point and Buena Vista Peak for panoramic vistas of the canyon’s dramatic landscapes.

OUR KINGS CANYON STORY
We drove from Death Valley to Kings Canyon visiting Yosemite for a brief time. Our lodging was inside the park at Cedar Grove. When we arrived it was late afternoon and we took a hike in the Zumwalt Meadow as the sun set over the mountains. The next morning we hiked the Hotel Creek Trail uphill to the Cedar Grove Overlook. We ate breakfast with a breathtaking view….
