Virgin Islands

Because Virgin Islands National Park is in St. John, it was not simple to get there. First, we drove to Miami, Florida from Charlotte, North Carolina. Second, we flew to St. Thomas in the Caribbean. Third, we took a taxi to the ferry boat dock. Fourth, we took the ferry to St. John USVI. Finally, we took another taxi to our lodging at the Cinnamon Bay campground....

Biscayne

Biscayne National Park, located off the east coast of Florida south of Miami is mostly underwater. To truly appreciate the beauty of this park you need to be in the water. Dry Tortugas

You have to take a long boat ride from Key West to visit Dry Tortugas. It lies in a cluster of seven islands, composed of coral reefs and sand, call the Dry Tortugas. Fort Jefferson, the nation’s largest 1800s masonry fort, is where we docked and walked around....
