Hot Springs was our 30th national park canceled and is known as “The American Spa.” The hot springs is not volcanic water. The 4000-year-old water is heated by flowing downward along hot rocks and collects over 700,000 gallons every day. The bathhouses pipe the hot spring water into tubs and we took advantage of the relaxing and healing waters.
