Lassen Volcanic National Park was an important moment in Winston’s life. During his climb of the ultimate snow hill, he struggled with fatigue, motivation and high elevation. His hands were freezing and he began to cry. Sometimes, it is during our most difficult moments in life that we learn our most valuable lessons. He learned to never give up!
Lassen’s Peak had a large eruption in 1915 that blew a huge mushroom shaped cloud of ash over 30,000 feet in the air. All is calm now at one of the world’s largest plug dome volcanoes.
